The Chengdu J-20 is expected to deploy Two (2) Years from now...

The Chengdu J-20 is a 5th Generation MRF which is envisioned to be Communist China's answer to Uncle Sam's F-22 Raptor. Unlike the Shenyang J-31, this stealth aircraft will not be made available to the international market (hey, just like the F-22 too).

US warfighting whiz kids believe that the J-20 will be more than a match against any 4th Generation MRF (e.g. F-15, F-16, F-18, Gripen, Rafale, Typhoon, etc.). Accordingly, only the F-35 and the F-22 will theoretically be able to dominate it.

If deployed in Communist China's fake islands in the Spratlys (specially Mischief Reef), the entire Philippines will be practically within its range, without any aerial refuelling. And its stealth capabilities will enable it to elude most air defense radars.

It is expected to be deployed in 2018. That's only two (2) years from now. And is suspected to be currently in the low production stage.

The PAF will have to take into even more serious consideration the Chengdu J-20 in determining its choice of MRF.

Who would want to spend a small fortune on an MRF that will already be obsolete against its expected adversary just two (2) years from now?

The Shenyang J-31 is expected to deploy Three (3) Years from now...

The Shenyang J-31 is a 5th Generation MRF which is envisioned to be Communist China's answer to Uncle Sam's F-35 Lightning II. Just like the latter, it is a stealth aircraft that will be made available to the international market.

US warfighting whiz kids believe that the J-31 will be able to match-up against any 4th Generation MRF (e.g. F-15, F-16, F-18, Gripen, Rafale, Typhoon, etc.).

If deployed in Communist China's fake islands in the Spratlys, the entire Philippines will be practically within its range, without any aerial refuelling. And its stealth capabilities will enable it to elude most air defense radars.

It is expected to be deployed in 2019. That's only three (3) years from now.

The PAF will have to take into serious consideration the Shenyang J-31 in determining its choice of MRF.

Who would want to spend a small fortune on an MRF that will only be able to barely hold its own three (3) years from now?

The geopolitical implications of the USS Curtis Wilbur's FONOP in the Paracels

Sunday, January 24, 2016 - USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG-54) docks at Manila, Philippines.

Saturday, January 30, 2016 - USS Curtis Wilbur conducts a FONOP within 12 nautical miles of Chinese-occupied Triton Island in the Paracels.

Here are the geopolitical implications of this naval operation:

1. The US does not also recognize Communist Chinese sovereignty over the Paracels (which were just forcibly annexed by Communist China from South Vietnam in 1974).

2. The US does not recognize any of Communist China's territorial claims in the entire South Chinese Sea outside of the Republic of China's pre-WWII territories (e.g. Paracels, Spratlys, Scarborough Shoal, etc.)

3. Just like the Spratlys and Scarborough Shoal, the US prefers that sovereignty over the Paracels should also be established through international arbitration.

4. Currently, the US will aggressively challenge with FONOPs all Communist Chinese territorial claims in the entire South China Sea (but who knows what the future will bring).

5. Now that EDCA is in place, these FONOPs will be mostly launched from the Philippines.

The USS Curtis Wilbur is part of the Seventh Fleet based in Yokusaka, Japan.

She is currently under the command of CMDR Amy Graham.

The nickname of USS Curtis Wilbur is: "Steel Hammer of the Republic"

Thank you for the Steel Hammer of the Republic's FONOP Uncle Sam!

Taiwan says that the F-16 is already outdated against Communist China!!!

In a nutshell, in the video below, Taiwan is saying that the F-16 is already outdated.

And unless the US replaces the F-16 with a new generation of MRFs, by 2020, Taiwan will be vulnerable to the greasy imperialist hands of Communist China.

The Philippines and Taiwan are now facing a common National Security Threat - Communist China!

So if the F-16 and other MRF of her generation is no longer good enough for Taiwan...

They should no longer be good enough for the Philippines too...

The F-35 Fanboys!!!

I have been reading a lot of negativity lately vis-a-vis the technical suitability of the F-35 for the Philippine Air Force.

So I have listed below the committed buyers of the F-35:

  • Royal Australian Air Force (F-35A: 72 ordered, up to 28 more planned for 2030)
  • Israeli Air Force (F-35A: 33 ordered, first 2 to be delivered in 2016; up to 75 total planned)
  • Italian Air Force (F-35A: 6 ordered, 1 delivered in 2015, 60 total planned; F-35B: 15 planned)
  • Italian Navy (F-35B: 15 planned)
  • Japan Air Self-Defense Force (F-35A: 5 ordered; 42 total planned)
  • Royal Netherlands Air Force (F-35A: 2 delivered and in testing, 8 additional ordered, 37 total planned)
    • Royal Norwegian Air Force (F-35A: 4 ordered, 52 total planned)
    • Republic of Korea Air Force (F-35A: 40 planned)
    • Turkish Air Force (F-35A: 6 ordered as of 2015, 100 total planned with an additional 20 options)
  • UK Royal Air Force  (F-35A: 138 planned; F-35B: 4 delivered and in testing, 10 additional ordered, 48 total planned by 2023)
  • US Air Force (F-35A: 1,763 planned)
  • USMC (F-35B/C: 420 planned)
  • US Navy (F-35C: 260 planned)

Now that you have seen the list, ask yourself this question:

Do you honestly think that you are in a better position to evaluate the technical capabilities of the F-35 than any of these miltary organizations?

What should the PAF buy with its $210 Million MRF Budget?

Thanks to the persistent efforts of Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile and Sen. Loren Legarda, the PAF got an MRF Budget of P10 Billion (or about $210 Million) for 2016.

The Million-Dollar Question now is: Which MRF should the PAF buy with this money?

a. the F-16 Fighting Falcon?
b. the JAS-39 Gripen?
c. or the F-35 Lightning II?

Unfortunately, both the F-16 and the JAS-39 will be soon made obsolete by Communist China's J-20.

So I say, let's go for the F-35.

I know, I know, we only have $210 Million.

But if we seriously plead our case to the White House and Capitol Hill, Uncle Sam might consider selling us two (2) F-35s with our miniscule budget.

I know, I know, two (2) F-35s do not make an Air Force.

But its symbolism is tremendous.

It will express in no uncertain terms Uncle Sam's extreme displeasure with Communist China's fake air bases in the WPS, as well as Uncle Sam's willingness to do whatever is necessary to neutralize this Geopolitical Threat.

And in the process, the PAF will have the best air superiority capability in SE Asia.

What the West Philippine Sea Blog is all about...

The purpose of this post is to set the record straight.

I have been getting online flak lately on the "credibility" of this Blog (whatever that means).

For the record, the West Philippine Sea Blog was created as a platform for "Online Return Fire" in response to the Communist Chinese Occupation of Panatag Shoal in mid-2012.

The sole purpose of this Blog's existence, therefore, is to attack the Global Interests of Communist China... Anytime... Anywhere... Anyhow... (and defend the Global Interests of the Philippines and her allies)...

Until Communist China abandons her Creeping Invasion of the West Philippine Sea!!!

Use the $42 Million Arelma Marcos Money as the seed fund for Drone Technology Research

I just saw on the news that the $42 million Marcos Arelma Money is about to be released by the US to the GRP.

We have waited 30 years for this money. This money should be set aside intact in a Special Trust Fund that is beyond the reach of the National Government to spend. Otherwise, this will just dissolve into thin air without any quantifiable benefit to the Filipino People.

Only the future annual earnings of such fund should then be used to finance a research program that could benefit all Filipinos. The principal amount should remain intact.

And the program I am recommending is Drone Technology Research under the direct supervision of the University of the Philippines.

Why is the AFP buying night vision equipment from Turkey?

just saw a news item that the AFP will be buying night vision equipment from Turkey.

And this quickly activated my BS Sensor.

I have nothing against Turkey, but the best night vision equipment are US-made. Why aren't we buying from Uncle Sam then?

Our SpecWar units are US-trained. Why can't we just simply ask our US Trainers where they get their own equipment?

If we want US SpecWar units to be as good as their US counterparts, we should equip them like their US counterparts!

Besides, it is Uncle Sam's uniformed men and women who are currently risking life and limb to stop the on-going invasion of Communist China in the West Philippine Sea. The least we can do to reciprocate their efforts, is support the US Defense Industry.

What can the Philippines afford for Territorial Defense?

Do you know that the Philippine  per capita GDP is higher than India's?

And like the Philippines and India, Communist China is also a developing country?

And according to a recent UN Study, we are currently losing about $10 Billion a year of our national budget to Governmenf Corruption!

In the next 5 years alone, that would be $50 Billion... This would be enough to buy at least 80 F-35s and keep them flying for the next 50 years!

Now, tell me again what we can and cannot afford as a People...

NOKOR Kim has a Hydrogen Bomb!!!

Less than two (2) weeks ago, we were all jolted by the press release that Communist China wants to push back her Yellow Sea boundaries with South Korea.

Today, we were jolted by another press release that Communist North Korea had just tested her own Hydrogen Bomb.

Is the timing of these events just a coincidence?

Or are these two Communist Dark Lords trying to pull a "Good Cop, Bad Cop" routine on the Entire World?

Remember there must always be two (2) Sith Lords...

************************************************
Original Post (at the Asymmetric Warfare Files blog):

The World Order War (WOW) can be divided into two (2) Sub-Wars - the Putin Russia Sub-War, and the Communist China Sub-War.

The Communist China Sub-War has currently Nine (9) Fronts:

1. European Security - Communist China wants to replace NATO with a  New World Security Organization (whatever that means);

2. Middle Eastern Security - Communist China establishes naval facilities at Djibouti to challenge Western Military Power in the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, and Mediterranean;

3. Asia-Pacific Trade - Communist China wants to establish the Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific (FTAAP) to rival the US-led Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP);

4. Global Finance - Communist China establishes the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to rival the Western- established International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB), and Asian Development Bank (ADB);

5. Global Currency - Communist China wants to replace the US Dollar with the Yuan as the primary International Currency;

6. African Trade -  Communist China wants to replace Western aid efforts in Africa with her own package of grants, loans, debt forgiveness, and student scholarships (which would encourage the African Student Elite to learn Chinese languge and culture);

7. Northeast Asian Territories - Communist China wants to replace the Western-established territorial boundaries  with her own "ancient historical boundaries" (again, whatever that means), and challenge Japanese Military Power in the process;

8. Western Pacific Security - Communist China establishes a Carrier-Based Naval Force to challenge US Military Power; and

9. Southeast Asian Territories - Communist China invades Philippine territory and manufactures fake islands to replace the Western-established territorial boundaries in the South China Sea with her own self-manufactured and clearly-fraudulent Nine-Dash Line, and challenge US Military Power in the process.

Take note that, of these Nine (9) Fronts, Communist China has been the most successful with respect to Front No. 9...

The Invasion of the Philippines.
